Rumford Hospital and Black Mountain of Maine are pleased to announce the 5th annual Family Fun Festival on Saturday, October 4th.

The fun begins at 8 am with the 25, 50 and 100 mile bike tours traveling through the River Valley. The running begins at 9:00 am with the 1K kids fun run/walk through the fields and woods of Black Mountain. This 0.625 mile loop provides plenty of visibility for spectators. Following the 1k will be the 5K race/walk over the scenic Cross Country trails.

Come support and vote for your favorite chowder from 11-1 at the River Valley Chowder Challenge featuring local businesses.

At 1pm come enjoy a 5K summer biathlon run and shoot. You can also enjoy fly casting demos, Nordic Walking demos, dryland training camp and a guided hike up to the top of Black Mountain. Come enjoy a fun filled day of racing, riding and events!
