The Western Maine Mountain Clinic (WMMC) is a part of Western Maine Health, which is anchored by Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway. WMMC is located at Sunday River Ski Resort. The Clinic was established in 1996 to treat a variety of urgent care conditions including: sore throats, ear infections, sprains, and fractures. PACE Paramedic Service is available at the mountain to transport cases if necessary. A staff of nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses and radiological technicians work at the clinic, and are managed by Dr. Russell Florenz from the Emergency Department at Stephens Memorial Hospital.
Hours: Early season the clinic holds a weekend schedule.
Regular season schedule is generally December - April (stay tuned for 2007-2008 dates) 7 days a week. 9 am - 4:30 pm.
