Memorial Day Parades & Services
BETHEL: Memorial Day Parade; 11 a.m., Main Street, Bethel. Line up at 10:30 a.m. at Napa. The parade will march up Main Street to the Common for a ceremony honoring veterans at 11 a.m. Fran Head is the main speaker. Miss Poppy will be announced, and the Mahoosuc Band will play.
EAST BETHEL: service 10:30am East Bethel Cemetery, Middle Intervale Road.
GREENWOOD: Parade 9am starting at old restaurant parking lot. Service at Veterans' Monument, then on to Lock Mills Church and cemetery for firing squad salute.
WOODSTOCK: 1pm ceremony at the Honor Roll, followed by parade to the Lakeside Cemetery.
BRYANT POND: 10 am Civil War Soldier to be honored; Lakeside Cemetery, Grove Street. Judith Grover Tent 17 DUVCW will dedicate a gravestone for Civil War veteran, Fessenden Swan, of the 10th Regiment, Company G Maine Volunteer Infantry.
ANDOVER: 9am observance on the common; coffee & donuts after the service at the town hall.
