Responsible Beverage Server/Seller Training - Free!
FREE Seller/Server Training for Off- Premise Liquor Licensees
Jessica Abbott, the trainer, is a TiPS Certified Trainer currently working in
substance use prevention. She is also a trained Recovery Coach working to
support the community however she can.
This training is geared toward restaurant and store owners and employees and will cover:
• False ID detection and carding policy
• Alcoholism and how alcohol affects the body
• Signage rules and regulations
• Maine Laws
• More need-to-know information for employees and owners
Quality training has proven to be an effective tool which when applied:
• Prevents costly violations
• Instills more confidence in your employees
• May reduce Liquor Liability Insurance (check with your insurance provider)
• Be an active part in reducing underage drinking in your community
Those who successfully complete the program will be registered with the Maine Department of Public Safety, Liquor Licensing. Participants will receive a state-approved certificate of completion which will certify you for THREE years.
