Terry Swett, Bethel Bandstand Concert Series
The Bethel Common will be filled with music every Sunday afternoon at 4 PM in August for the 2012 Bethel Bandstand Concert Series presented by the Mahoosuc Arts Council. The line up features four acts ranging in styles from folk, rock, and blues, to yodeling, country and jazz. Bring a chair or a blanket, sit back, relax, or sing or dance along!
August 5, 2012: Terry Swett starts of the series August 5 performing originals he calls a "Travelogue of Folkish Ditties."
August 12, 2012: Bethel's own Jewel Clark & Donnie Katlin, will perform something for everyone August 12, from country and folk to blues and rock-n-roll, with Jewel's signature "yodeling," an art inherited from her dad, Yodeling Slim Clark.
August 19, 2012: The Swift River Jazz Band will bring their horn section and lady drummer to play Dixieland favorites August 19.
August 25, 2012: Phil Poirier, a singer, songwriter and artist, will close the series August 25 with a blend of original songs called "contemporary folk with a touch of the blues."
