The most important thing to know about me is that I adore shooting weddings.
The second-most important thing is that I’m less a photographer than a photojournalist.

Which means that I’ve spent years learning to capture the moment… and to capture it as it happened.
That’s the philosophy I bring to my wedding photos. You can try to re-create those moments, but they will never be as beautiful, as poignant or as true.
Your wedding happened in the laughter between you and your friends. It happened in the expression on your mother’s face as she watched your first dance. It happened in the nervous smile you threw over your shoulder as you stepped into the aisle.
I’m here to capture those moments, and a thousand more.
I work in New England, but I’ll gladly travel anywhere in the world if you and I hit it off splendidly.
Before beginning my work shooting weddings, I earned a BFA in photography from UMass at Amherst, had a stint stringing for the Associated Press, and was a staff photographer at a large regional daily newspaper and many other local papers.
I’m a member of the WPJA, the PPA, and the Chamber of Commerce, and I’m one of the driving forces behind ShootStyle, a small group of New England wedding photographer professionals devoted to providing each other with community, inspiration, and support.
I’ve been published in USA Today, Real Maine Weddings, a number of wedding planning blogs and was named one of the top 100 wedding photojournalists in the world by the Wedding Photojournalist Association, but most importantly, my clients like me.
