What does the Bethel Area Chamber of Commerce do?
Here's just a start!
-Staffs and operates a local and regional information center - stop in for local info or just to use the public restrooms. Come see the World's Tallest SnowWoman's actual mica pendant. Ask us questions, if we don't have the answer, we can usually find it and will be happy to!
-Organizes community events including Bethel Art Fair, MollyOckett Day, Harvestfest & Chowdah Cookoff, Maine State Triathlon, Local Craft & Wares Fair.
-Facilitates communication between our business members and the other facets of our community: municipal officials, educational institutions, other community organizations, and the general public.
-Maintains a community events calendar for member businesses and other community groups, churches and non-profits.
-Develops and facilitates marketing projects to promote the Bethel area in all four seasons.
-Organizes networking events for our members including a monthly Community Networking Breakfast and a monthly Business After Hours.
-Acts as a media contact for the Bethel area.

Look for Visitor Information signs on Route 2, Route 26, and Parkway Road in Bethel. The BACC is located in a former train station next door to The Gem Theater (formerly the Casablanca Theater).
