      REGISTERED MAINE GUIDES.

ANDROSCOGGIN RIVER TRIP: ideal, full as it is of color, simple paddling, terrific views of the mountains, animals, birds, and adventure. An ideal family activity, suitable for all ability and age groups. BOA & Campground is perfectly located to support such a trip. We RENT CANOES & KAYAKS, run a convenient SHUTTLE service, provide maps and all technical equipment, offer advice and help where needed, and make it simple and convenient for you to enjoy a great day. Leave your car with us - take our shuttle - paddle leisurely downstream back to our campground - eat lunch along the way - marvel at the views - stop to fish or swim - it all makes for a truly memorable day.

TUBING, great family activity, perfect for those hot mid-summer days when about the only place to be is on water, leisurely floating down a lazy river. Boys and girls camps love this activity.

OPEN SEVEN DAYS A WEEK MAY 27, 2017. (HIT OR MISS UNTIL THEN.)
And our seasonal MINERAL & GEM SLUICE! We've gathered material from local and active mines (Maine is famous for its variety of semi-precious minerals). You fill a bucket and look for that particular gem which will have meaning for you long after the return home. Tourmaline (Maine's state gem) is frequently found, and the whole experience (much more exciting than digging through a pile of dirt would imply) is geared to education and fun.
