SBA Disaster Relief Updates
 
 
PPP Application Period Extended to August 8th
The application period for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) has been extended to August 8th. PPP provides businesses impacted by COVID-19 with a forgivable loan for payroll, mortgage interest, rent, and specific utilities. More details here.
 
 
EIDL Advance No Longer Available
 
The SBA recently announced that funding for the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) advance ($1,000 per employee, up to $10,000 that does not need to be paid back) is no longer available. The loan portion of the EIDL is still available. The EIDL provides low-interest, long-term loans which can be used for working capital, payroll, accounts payable, and short-term debts.
