2020 Bethel Art Fair VENDOR REGISTRATION
Vendor Registration is now suspended as we determine the status of the event.
If we are able to hold this event in some format, we will be in touch with how that will work.
If the Bethel Area Chamber of Commerce needs to cancel this event due to COVID-19 recommendations, we will offer a full refund of the application fee to all vendors.

We review all new exhibitors' work according to the following guidelines:
- The Bethel Art Fair welcomes artists, artisans, and fine crafters to exhibit at the event.
- Decisions are made based on quality, pricing, and diversity.
- Each exhibitor must sell his or her own original design.
- Nonprofit exhibitors need to be art-oriented.
- FINE ART/CRAFT ONLY.
- Imports will not be accepted.
- New exhibitors need to submit 2 photos of your work by mail or email if you do not provide a link to your website or Facebook page. If your application is not accepted, your payment will be refunded in full within 30 days.
- Bethel Art Fair is a rain or shine event.
- Exhibitors must staff their booths from 9am-4 pm unless severe weather becomes a factor.
- Set up times: Friday, July 3, 4-7pm (NO overnight security available) or Saturday, July 4, 6:30-9am
- Exhibitors must be set up by 9:00am and their vehicles moved to off-street parking.
- Space: your 10'x10' tent plus 2' of clearance on each side = 14'x14' total space.
- Tents, chairs, and displays are NOT provided.
- Tents must be staked and preferably also weighted with anchors.
- Location or designated boundaries of booth spaces may not be changed.
- Pets must be leashed and waste removed.
- The Bethel Art Fair is a non-smoking event.
- $10 fee for all cancellations before June 19th.
- No refunds after June 19, unless the Chamber cancels this event due to COVID19 guidelines, we will then offer a full refund with no cancellation fee.
- Only 5 food vendor spaces are available
- Returning vendors need to apply by April 27 to guarantee the same spot as last year.
- Spaces: your 10'x10' tent, truck, or trailer & hitch plus 4' of clearance (2' of clearance on each side) = 14'x14' total space paid for.
- Please call 207-824-2282 to register if you need more than 14'x14' of space.
- All tent supports, trailer hitches, propane tanks, etc., must be within the boundaries of their assigned booth spaces.
- Vendors must bring an adequate amount of food to last the entire event from 9am-4pm.
- NO sewer or water hookups available.
- NO grease disposal available.
- NO sharing of spaces. Each business/organization must apply for booth space separately.
- Electricity & Propane: Power is limited to certain booth areas. Be sure to complete the section of the application on electrical needs, listing specific power requirements 110v or 220v. Vendors must bring suitable cords and outlet strips to meet their needs.
- Fire Safety: Any vendor using cooking equipment must have a 40 BC-minimum fire extinguisher. Any vendor who serves food must have a 20 BC-minimum fire extinguisher. The fire marshal requires that propane tanks be secured firmly on a hard, non-combustible surface, i.e. cement blocks, tin, etc. Vendors must supply their own surface on which to secure tanks - the ground alone does not qualify.
- Insurance: Accepted vendors will be required to provide the Bethel Area Chamber of Commerce with a certificate of insurance with no less than $1,000,000 general liability insurance and naming the Bethel Area Chamber of Commerce as the additional insured. Vendors assume all risk for their property. The Chamber will not be responsible for any loss or damage from any cause.
- Licenses: Vendors are responsible for acquiring all necessary state and town licenses. Licenses must be displayed at the concession site for government inspectors.
- Selection of food vendors will be made on the basis of quality and pricing, with the priority of providing a variety of menu choices for the Art Fair. You may be asked to adjust your menu based on what other vendors are planning to offer, if another vendor signed up first.
