Wondering how to get some of your younger community folks interested in your organization? Or what small changes might make it easier for your to get greater commitment from those who have shown interest? Join Gal Potashnick, the Outreach & Member Services Director of the Ammonoosuc Conservation Trust (ACT) based in Franconia, NH on June 3rd. Come be part of a casual and open conversation about what you might be able to do to help grow a greater base of younger employees or volunteers. Gal will share her experience (both successes and failures) in recruiting and keeping younger volunteers, trends she’s observed in the Littleton area, as well as some ideas of what other land trusts have done successfully to grow their Next Gen involvement. She’ll also share a bit about her own experience finding her way on to committees and boards in the North Country. Bring your questions, challenges and successes to share with the group, you are your own experts when it come to your community - no accomplishment is too small.
