Free Outdoor Earth Day Screening: The Race to Save the World
The Center for an Ecology-Based Economy (CEBE) and The Gem are partnering to bring you Emmy-winning producer, Joe Gantz’s film, "The Race to Save the World", on Earth Day, April 22nd at 7:30pm.
The Race to Save the World is a feature documentary film that follows the inspiring stories of everyday people who are devoting their lives to fighting climate change. This film follows the passion, determination and unwavering commitment of people who aren’t putting their heads in the sand, they aren’t waiting for someone else to do something, they’re in the trenches doing anything and everything they can to make an impact.
The news about climate change is overwhelming and frightening and many think that there is little that one person can do, so they tune out this message. The Race To Save The World will motivate rather than frighten viewers, as it shows people who are doing all they can to inspire the world to act while there’s still time to lessen the damage on future generations.
This event is FREE, thanks to support from CEBE. It will be held in The Gem’s Outdoor Theater at 7:30pm on Earth Day, April 22nd. A talk will be given at 7:30pm and the film will begin at 8pm. Seating is limited to 50 people. Please reserve your seat today. Donations will be welcome!
If you would prefer not to come to an in-person event, you can purchase tickets to watch the film virtually. Find out more at this link: https://www.theracetosavetheworld.com/
