Milbre Burch is a Grammy-nominated spoken word recording artist and internationally known storyteller whose work as a theatre artist was honed while training at Celebration Barn Theater with founder Tony Montanaro. A produced and published playwright, she has performed and taught across the US, and in Europe and Asia. In Tales from Beyond the Ban, she shares stories of perseverance and passion from Libya, Iran, Iraq, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. Milbre Burch is a storyteller in every sense of the word.
