Tamara Poddubnaya and Ilya “Ilyusha” Ishchenko, veterans of our summertime Music without Borders International Piano Festival at Gould Academy, will return to Bethel on Saturday, December 8, to give an “Encore Recital” at 7:30 p.m. in McLaughlin Science Building auditorium. The program will include works by Mozart, Chopin, Liszt, and Scriabin.
Professor Poddubnaya is renowned for her dynamic and effective teaching style. At 2:30 Saturday afternoon, she will give a master class in McLaughlin. All are welcome to audit that class. Anyone wishing to participate in that master class, should get in touch with Heidi Modr, Gould performing arts faculty member, at modrh@gouldacademy.org, to make arrangements.
This event promises to be a great holiday celebration – more great music in Bethel – so be sure to tell your friends, neighbors, and visitors and “come on over” to McLaughlin on Saturday, the 8th.
