              Event Description:
              Late winter is nesting season for owls in the Mahoosucs and a great opportunity to see and hear these elusive birds. We will start with a quick review of the owls that live in our area, and then head out to listen to the sounds of the night. If we are lucky, we will hear owls and maybe a coyote or two. Time and weather permitting, we will also visit McCoy-Chapman Forest. Bring a flashlight. Dress for cold weather and since trails may be icy, a walking stick or foot traction is advised.
