Quilting sessions with a focus on individualized instruction are now being offered at the Museums of the Bethel Historical Society. The current quilting activity is a multi-layered Trivet Kit available (including personalized instruction) for $45. This project takes 2 1/2 to 3 hours to complete, and a number of new sewing machines are available on site for student use. Those interested in making this fun and practical item are asked to call Donna Sheerin Gillis to make an appointment (207-357-2644). Quilting sessions are held by appointment on Wednesdays and Fridays, and hours are flexible.
