Local resident Tom Davis was inspired to set to music Blanco's original poem\, "One Today." It will be performed by a chorus and string quartet\, including an appearance by Richard Blanco and followed by a reception. \n\n\n\nThis event is expected to reach capacity - consider attending the dress rehearsal on Saturday\, October 22 at The Gem Theater.\n\n\n\nThis event honors retired Gould Academy music and art instructor Jim Owen. \n\n\n\nPresented in cooperation with the Western Mountains Senior College\, Mahoosuc Arts Council\, and Bethel Area Chamber of Commerce.
