2021 Bethel Area Summerfest (formerly Molly Ockett Day)

Visit Molly Ockett Day for information, including last year's schedule of events. ? ************************************************************************************************************************** Summerfest is the Bethel area's summer homecoming, the biggest and most beloved event of the year featuring: road races (hosted by the Bethel Outing Club, a parade fireworks live music kids' activities and entertainment a frog jumping contest pony rides and so much more! Vendors on the town common include crafts, food, and community groups. It's a time to connect with friends and neighbors and enjoy the beautiful Bethel summer. Vendor Registration & Information - NOW OPEN For local artists/crafters from MSAD#44 district (Bethel, Gilead, Albany, Newry, Hanover, Andover, Upton, Greenwood, Woodstock), please contact Deanne Bodemer at 207-824-2282 or email deanne@bethelmaine.com by April 15th for registration to get priority placement under the tent for the Local Craft Showcase.
2021 Bethel Art Fair presented by The Gem Theater
50+ artists and artisans exhibit throughout downtown Bethel to sell their art/fine crafts and celebrate a vibrant arts scene in Western Maine. Food, entertainment, gallery open houses, and fireworks round out the schedule to kick off the long Independence Day weekend. Find more information at Bethel Art Fair. 2021 Bethel Harvestfest & Chowdah Cookoff
Celebrate the harvest and the beginning of fall foliage season with arts, crafts, music, a farmers' market, a chowder and apple pie cookoff, and much more on the town common. Don't miss the Chowdah Cookoff -- (KA Chowderfest) hundreds of hungry tasters line up as many of your favorite restaurants vie for Peoples' or Judges' Choice. Always the third Saturday in September.
