    • Position Summary
      • Under the direction and supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Services Director, primary responsibilities involve overall coordination and administration of the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Program. Coordinates daily activities of Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Nurse, including education, continued competency reviews and cardiac stress testing.

    • Job Requirements
      • Education, Required Licenses/Certifications:
        • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed with the New Hampshire State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
        • Must be BLS and ACLS certified.
        • Completion of Basic Dysrhythmia Program (formerly “Module I education program in coronary care nursing”).
        • Completion of Conscious Sedation Competency preferred.
        • Completion of Cardiovascular Alterations & Management (formerly “Module II education program in coronary care nursing”) or CCRN designation preferred. 

      • Work Experience, Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
        • Two years recent experience in cardiopulmonary or cardiopulmonary rehabilitation nursing field.  ED nursing experience may be considered in lieu of cardiopulmonary nursing experience.
        • Advanced knowledge of cardiac and pulmonary anatomy and physiology is preferred.
        • Understanding of the scientific principles upon which cardiovascular rehabilitation is based is preferred.
        • Knowledge and experience with adult echocardiograms preferred.
        • Demonstrated skills in arrhythmia recognition.
        • Demonstrated ability to teach patients and families effectively about medical topics and/or lifestyle changes.
