• Hotel Front Office Manager

    Sunday River is looking for someone to lead our front office at the Grand Summit Hotel and Snow Cap Inn. The Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of the front desk agents, night audit, valet, bell person, and ski check teams. We are looking for someone energetic, upbeat, and passionate about making sure every guest and team member finds their “Happy Place!”

    Responsibilities:

    • Determines daily work assignments, projects, and priorities
    • Oversees the MOD (Manager on Duty), front desk, night audit, valet, bell person and ski check team members
    • Is trained in and can perform all Front Desk agent daily duties as needed
    • Reviews front desk and MOD shift logs and takes necessary action to resolve challenges
    • Ensures that all customer service requests and inquiries from guests are handled promptly
    • Performs required inventory and ordering of office supplies
    • Maintains ability to be on call to fill in for call out/no show employees
    • Handles any employee coaching in accordance with Human Resources SOP
    • Reviews guest surveys and provides feedback to staff/takes corrective action as needed
    • Maintains an organized and efficient work environment
    • Prepares forecast according to occupancy and budget guidelines
    • Prepares and manages weekly staff schedules, flexing and adjusting to business levels
    • Supervises the work performance of all front office centered teams
    • Assumes Assistant/General Manager responsibilities in their absence
    • Maintains fiscal responsibility for all front desk cash drawers and safe count
    • Has ability to communicate across multiple platforms within the resort

    Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or equivalent required
    • Proficient in all Microsoft systems
    • 2+ consecutive years in a similar management position
    • Associate or above degree in Hospitality Management a plus
