Maine Energy Systems (MESys) products are heating homes and buildings from Maine to Alaska. Built in Bethel, Maine, for the U.S. market, the licensed boiler design was acquired from ÖkoFEN, the world’s leader in automatic wood pellet boiler design and technology since 1989.
Maine Energy Systems’ primary mission is to support the transition to the use of renewable wood pellet fuel for heating of homes and businesses. By offering a stably priced carbon neutral source of heat and energy like wood pellets, MESys keeps home and business owners comfortable with their heat and comfortable in the knowledge that they are being good stewards of our environment. This fuel transition not only lowers costs for users, it also retains and creates jobs in the region while significantly reducing the region’s carbon footprint.
