What does the Bethel Area Chamber of Commerce do?
Here's just a start!
-Staffs and operates a local and regional information center - stop in for local info or just to use the public restrooms. Come see the World's Tallest SnowWoman's actual mica pendant.
-Ask us questions, if we don't have the answer, we can usually find it and will be happy to!
-Organizes community events including Bethel Art Fair, MollyOckett Day, Harvestfest & Chowdah Cookoff, Maine State Triathlon, Local Craft & Wares Fair.
-Facilitates communication between our business members and the other facets of our community: municipal officials, educational institutions, other community organizations, and the general public.
-Maintains a community events calendar for member businesses and other community groups, churches and non-profits.
-Develops and facilitates marketing projects to promote the Bethel area in all four seasons.
-Organizes networking events for our members including a monthly Community Networking Breakfast and a monthly Business After Hours.
-Acts as a media contact for the Bethel area.

Look for Visitor Information signs on Route 2, Route 26, and Parkway Road in Bethel. The BACC is located in a former train station next door to The Gem Theater (formerly the Casablanca Theater).
