Mahoosuc Heart & Soul Story-Gathering Training
We here at Mahoosuc Heart & Soul are offering a free story-gathering training session. We are currently in the second phase of the project, our goal is to engage a diverse array of people in our communities and ask them questions about their experiences, concerns, hopes and dreams, and ideas for action in the future. By exploring our communities and reaching people who are less outspoken, we hope to learn what people enjoy about the region, as well as what they may like to see in the future. This is a grassroots, bottom-up method for community planning, that works by putting the planning back in the hands of the community. This training is for anyone interested in gathering and recording oral history while connecting with neighbors and community members.
If you are willing to collect a few stories from your friends, family, work associates, or neighbors, please attend. This is an hour and half training and snacks will be provided.
