Can You Imagine

As spring warms into summer, community events are offered nearly every weekend. How about enjoying a hike in Grafton Notch State Park or the White Mountain National Forest...mountain biking at Sunday River...biking the country roads...golfing at either Sunday River Golf Club or the historic Bethel Inn Resort? Rent a kayak or canoe and explore one of our many lakes or float down the Androscoggin? How about fly fishing for our famed brook trout? Perhaps your interest is wildlife or bird watching, taking a covered bridge tour, or going on a pontoon boat ride into the Lake Umbagog National Wildlife Refuge? How about a tour of the Bumpus Mine or rock sluicing for Maine gems?

As summer wanes into autumn, our mountains and valleys are ablaze in spectacular fall foliage! The Bethel Harvest Fest, complete with a famous chowdah fest and the Sunday River Fall Festival featuring the North American Wife Carrying Contest offer loads of fun for all!

Plan to visit us this summer or fall!
