Well, they're out there somewhere. And lots more wildlife, too. No guarantees - but wildlife abounds in Bethel and the surrounding mountains and valleys of western Maine and Northern New Hampshire.

Here are some ideas for how to see the wildlife you're looking for.

Take yourself on a scenic drive. 

Umbagog National Wildlife Refuge - about an hour north of Bethel. Try a pontoon boat wildlife tour!
